"Uhhh! We're ooozin! Drip Drip Drip Drippin Dope!"
Oh man is that a great chorus. Dig Reel Deal, a three man crew
from the Bronx. The tune opens with a siren letting you know it's
time to "duck and cover" as these three MCs take individual
turns on the mic spitting fire with youthful enthusiasm and clever
lines... "If you were an Icy you still couldn't freeze me,
boyeee!" Towards the end of the track these guys trade lyrics
of fury in a tight back n forth manner while the music drips and
oozes all over the joint.
This was a blind purchase and one that I was pleasantly surprised
with. The only semi-recognizable name here was the production
credit for Andre Booth. Andre did work for Sam records in the
early 80s and even turned up on Big Daddy Kane's Taste of Chocolate
LP. I don't recall ever seeing any other Mob Records releases
other than this one. Rugged!
