The New York duo of Sir Fresh & DJ Critical are incredible!
These guys put out some good singles on the Solid Goals label
in the late 80s. Tunes like Sir Vere and Gimme Whatcha
Got are super fresh. I'm Smooth carry's you through
the grooves at high speed while letting all the ladies know who's
the smoothest. This is on some super-sized sueve type shit with
lines like "We serve more girls than McDonalds do".
Whooo!
It's really surprising these 12"s haven't turned up on any
comps or reissues. This single as the others on Solid Goals are
pretty tough to snap up. They're starting to fetch crazee money
nowadays.
